The Vil Veins is a rising alternative rock trio from Barcelona that has quickly captivated the city’s underground music scene with their gritty, fuzz-heavy sound. Formed in 2024, the band consists of Max Campos (Brazil), Dylan Cloud (New Zealand/Philippines), and Toni Capó (Mallorca), blending a melting pot of musical influences that reflects their diverse cultural backgrounds.

Max and Dylan connected over a shared love for stoner rock and blues, and after a fateful jam session, they recruited drummer Toni, whose dynamic, Jekyll-and-Hyde persona behind the kit transformed their sound. The band draws inspiration from bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Reignwolf, and Royal Blood, and their music is characterized by fuzz-laden riffs, energetic beats, and raw, primal power. Their name, “The Vil Veins,” reflects their collective feeling of being outsiders, with “vil” conjuring images of the sinister and raw.
