Proveniente de una estirpe familiar que marcó la historia del folk americano (hija de Arlo Guthrie y nieta de Woody Guthrie), su linaje es innegable. Pero si cierras los ojos y olvidas que su apellido es sinónimo del legado fluvial de una corriente cada vez más amplia de la música folclórica estadounidense, seguirás sintiéndote atraído por la claridad y el alma detrás de su voz. Ha flirteado con la música desde adolescente cantando a Pete Seeger en Carnegie Hall con las entradas agotadas. Más tarde, con su marido Johnny Irion y Gary Louris de Jayhawks, crearon un sonido folk-rock en una serie de álbumes aclamados por la crítica como 'Exploration' y 'Wassiac Way'. Sarah Lee Guthrie recorre ahora su propio camino en solitario, transmitiendo la rica cultura norteamericana a través de la calidez de su propio linaje.


She’s In The Trees es un grupo de folk contemporáneo de Liverpool liderado por Amy Scott-Samuel. Música ensoñadora y emocional que aborda temas universales del Amor y la Pérdida. Su inspiración llega de Bonnie Prince Billy, Big Thief, Joni Mitchell y toda la tradición folk británica y norteamericana.

Unforgettable Night
Sarah Lee Guthrie wowed us from the moment she set foot on the stage. Perched on a stool, we truly felt that we were in the presence of one of the greats. She interspersed her songs - her voice is stunning - with intimate tales from her life, which made her songs even more meaningful. Thank you!
