Roger Mir: Meeting the New Rhythm Section
Amb aquest concert especial volem presentar-vos de manera anticipada el que serà el primer disc d’aquest quartet, amb la participació del trio de la baterista Estefania Chamorro, acompanyada de Roger Herrero (piano) i Juan Pastor (contrabaix). Amb aquest projecte volem fer un petit tribut al disc Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section (Contemporary, 1957), tot incorporant les idees i influències musicals de cada membre, i destacant les aportacions brasilenyes i afrocubanes del trio base.
